Joe came to our rented holiday house in Bigbury on Sea to prepare a delicious meal for 11 of us to celebrate my mum’s 88th birthday. Joe helped us to choose a menu to suit us all and it was fabulous. Delicious. Beautifully presented in a very relaxed way that helped us to enjoy the food and the evening - it was like having a friend who had come round to cook for us! Joe was very relaxed about timings and let the evening flow naturally. And they left the kitchen more spotlessly clean than they found it! From the moment he replied (promptly) to my request for a quote I knew he was the right chef for us - the flow of ideas around the menu was easy and accommodating. Thank you Joe for making my mum’s birthday so special.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joe catered for our party of 10 for my father's 80th birthday at their home in Devon. We'd never had a private chef before, but it exceeded all our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. 4 different main courses due to kids and dietary requirements. "The best venison I've ever had" was one person's comment. "When can we do it again?" was the 6 years old's comment (who even ate the lettuce). The food and style would not have been out of place in a Michelin-star restaurant. It was relaxed with a  perfect pace to digest a 6-course dinner.  Plus no washing up!
